This workshop is designed for communities that are committed to taking leadership on health and well-being, and are ready to develop partnership agreements or put their partnership agreements into action. This workshop supports multi-sector collaboration to build healthier communities between local governments, health authorities, and other community partners.
Through this workshop, participants learn about:
- Health and well-being trends and influences at a local level – how do we work together to create solutions?
- Challenges and opportunities for collaborating across a diversity of disciplines, sectors and organizations
- Skills, knowledge and attitudes to support collaboration
- Specific opportunities for local collaboration to support healthy community development
