Local Government Awareness Week is May 15-21

 Local Government Awareness Week is a co-operative initiative, coordinated by the Union of BC Municipalities, CivicInfo BC, Ministry of Community, Sport & Cultural Development, BC School Trustees Association and the Public Works Association of BC.  This year it falls on the third week of May, from the 15th-21st, and there are many creative and fun ways to celebrate it.  For activity ideas, online resources and sample proclamations, visit the Local Government Awareness Week website:  http://www.lgaw.bc.ca/
