Why Collective Impact and Why Now? A Tamarack Tele-Learning Event

Date/Time
Date(s) - August 8, 2014 - August 9, 2014
8:00 am - 8:45 am

Speakers: Melody Barnes and Paul Born (Bios)

Thought Leader Melody Barnes was previously appointed by and worked with President Barack Obama in the West Wing as the Director of the White House Domestic Policy Council which was responsible for the formation and leadership of the White House Council for Community Solutions.  The Council adopted Collective Impact as one of two key strategies to advance the communities agenda across America and Melody was so inspired by this work that she left the White House to form The Aspen Institute where she now serves as Chair of the Forum for Community Solutions which is, in part, responsible for advancing the work of collective impact globally. Melody knows more than anyone about the need for large scale change in our communities. Join Melody and Paul Born for an interactive tele-learning session in which they explore the theme of Collective Impact and why it’s crucial that leaders embrace this framework right now.
