As organizations work to shift structures and programs towards equity and anti-racism, evaluation is often an afterthought. Many organizations also find evaluation to be complicated, confusing, and time-consuming. But evaluation doesn’t have to be mysterious, painful, or overwhelming, and it is actually a powerful way to promote equity and justice.
Join Sheila Matano (she/her), Carolyn Camman (they/them), and Trilby Smith (she/her), three Vancouver-based evaluators, on September 23 for a 3-hour online webinar introducing the essentials of what evaluation is and how it works, including practical tools to get started. They will also cover core questions and issues related to equity and justice in evaluation, including common challenges and also ways to address them. You’ll receive links and additional resources for you to keep exploring these topics beyond the webinar. It will be an interactive and engaging learning experience offered by three skilled online facilitators.
