Event Description
“Our Way” Indigenous Health & Wellness Conference will tcover all areas of holistic wellness from a Carrier and Sekani perspective from across the life cycle.
Special Guests include:
- First Nations Health Authority Chair Lydia Hwistum
- Dr. Daniele Behn Smith
- Dr. Lee Brown
- Dr. Jessica Ball
- Local knowledge holders and wellness educators.
We are very fortunate to have Kym Gouchie opening for Shane Yellowbird, who will be providing music entertainment!
The conference will be closing with an all clans honoring feast to celebrate the contributions of individuals to the health and wellbeing of Carrier and Sekani people.
