Through these webinars, planners, design professionals, health professionals, and other participants involved in promoting healthy built environments and sustainable development, will learn:

  1. How agencies and professionals from across sectors can creatively collaborate at the local level in order to enhance community engagement in the land use and transportation planning process–within limited resources.
  2. What are some emerging promising practices for broadening and deepening stakeholder engagement in land use and transportation decisions at the neighbourhood and street levels.
  3. How working across-sectors to facilitate community engagement can help planners meet the health and sustainability objectives of the communities they serve.
