Join CommunityMatters® and the Citizens’ Institute on Rural Design™ on Wednesday, August 20 for an hour-long webinar highlighting community design that kick starts rural development.
We’ll hear from Emily Pilloton of Project H—her work in rural North Carolina was captured in the documentary If You Build It, and her popular TED Talk on the subject went viral.
Mark Rembert and Taylor Stuckert of Energize Clinton County will share their story about economic revitalization in rural Ohio. Mark and Taylor’s work has drawn coverage from National Public Radio, PopTech!, and Fast Company.
You’ll learn smart ways to introduce decision makers to design principles and find appropriate roles for “experts” and outsiders in resident-led design projects.
Register here for free! Time of webinar is 1:00-2:00 pm PDT.
