Event Description
The Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District and the Alberni-Clayoquot Health Network are hosting this exciting dialogue and action planning session facilitated by PlanH.
This session builds upon the transportation consultations undertaken in 2014 and is an opportunity to take leadership and set priorities for action on the theme areas and recommendations coming out of the transportation study, including:
- Engaging the public and supporting leadership on regional transportation issues;
- Improving coordination of transportation services;
- Investigating medical travel options;
- Enhancing transportation corridors.
Participants will explore how we can build healthier communities in our region, and support accessible and affordable transportation for all.
This workshop is open to local government elected officials and staff from communities within Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District, First Nations leaders, members of the Alberni-Clayoquot Health Network, and other key health-related stakeholders who have been involved in the transportation consultations.
